Medium-temperature Sealants For Anodic Oxide Films Of Aluminum And Aluminum Alloys
Medium-temperature sealants for anodic oxide films of aluminum and aluminum alloys provide excellent sealing performance with a smooth, fine finish. These sealants effectively prevent common issues such as dye fading, powder film formation, and gray mist appearance.

Application Method
When preparing the bath solution, maintain pH at 5.5. Note that pH levels may fluctuate with use due to water, acid, and base introduction.
  • Use acid-resistant, high-temperature filters for solution filtration
  • Adjust pH with dilute acetic acid (to lower) or NaOH (to raise)
  • Product specific gravity varies by processing conditions (approximately 3-4m²/g)
Analytical Procedure
  1. Combine 10ml sealing solution with 100ml pure water
  2. Add 10ml 6N-ammonia water and 2-3 drops triethanolamine
  3. Mix in 0.2g MX indicator (solution turns orange)
  4. Titrate with 0.01M-EDTA standard solution until purple-red endpoint (A ml)
Safety & Handling
  • Review product manual and MSDS thoroughly before use
  • Store away from heat sources in well-ventilated areas
  • Wear protective equipment (gloves, goggles, mask) during handling
  • In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention
  • Maintain sealed storage and avoid prolonged exposure after opening
